The crime came to light when police discovered a half-burnt body inside a tin box near Ayera village on May 4.
According to a report published by NDTV, the accused was identified as Ajit, while the deceased was named Mohanlal Sharma. An autopsy revealed that the victim had been murdered before being placed in the box. The investigation led to the formation of three police teams, which eventually identified the victim and traced the crime back to his son. Man Kills Father Over Homosexual Relationship Dispute
According to the police, Ajit harboured resentment towards his father for objecting to his relationship with another man, Krishna. This animosity culminated in a conspiracy with his partner and a friend named Deepak to commit the murder. On May 1, the trio executed their plan, resulting in the death of Mohanlal Sharma. The body was then burnt and concealed in a box to hinder identification.
Accused, His Accomplices Arrested
The main accused, Ajit, and his accomplices were apprehended by a surveillance team after an encounter. The police recovered two illegal pistols, four live cartridges, two hollow cartridges, and the iron crowbar used in the murder. Both Ajit and Krishna sustained injuries during the encounter and are currently receiving treatment at Mathura District Hospital.
