Lucknow, October 16: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old woman died by suicide on Saturday evening in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra district after being blackmailed by two stalkers. The accused made a video of her while she was bathing at her house and threatened to make it viral if she did not have a physical relationship with them. The woman’s father told the police that the accused had beaten her up and tried to molest her when she resisted their advances. Police found a suicide note wherein she named her stalkers for forcing her to take the extreme step.

According to an Indian Express report, an FIR has been filed against two accused, identified as Abhishek, 23, and Vishnu, 21. The police have registered an FIR against the accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 354 (use of criminal force to any woman, intending to outrage her modesty), 452 (house trespass after preparation for hurt), and 306 (abetment to suicide) The duo is absconding currently. Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Four-Year-Old Girl Raped, Murdered in Farrukhabad District, Accused Arrested.

Deceased Resisted Rape Bid:

The accused, Abhishek and Vishnu, had reportedly entered the girl’s house on Friday night and made a video of her while she was bathing. They then threatened to make the video viral if she did not have a physical relationship with them. “The suicide note left by her has become the basis for the FIR, but we have been told that the woman was illiterate. We will send the suicide note to handwriting experts to ensure that she actually wrote the note before ending her life or someone in the family did so after her death,” Mahesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Khairagarh, told the media outlet.
