Bareilly, December 9: In a shocking incident, a 34-year-old man allegedly killed his 30-year-old wife after she refused his demand to “have sex twice in one night”, police said. The incident took place in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. The accused has been identified as Mohd Anwar, who admitted to the murder before police in a video statement.

Victim Rukhsar, a resident of Amroha, had got married to Anwar in 2013 and they have three kids. Anwar runs a bakery on the ground floor of his house, while his family lives on the first floor, reported TOI.

The accused woke up his wife on Monday night for sex. After some time, he wanted to do it again, but she refused. In a fit of rage, Anwar said that he strangled her to death with a piece of rope. Later, he packed the body in a polythene sack and dumped it 50km away from his home. Police recovered an unidentified body of a woman near Ratupura village in Thakurdwara on Tuesday. After registering an FIR of murder at Thakurdwara police station, they started their investigation and shared the pictures of the body with nearby police stations. After the details matched with a missing complaint filed in Amroha, Moradabad police called Anwar for identification of the body. Circle officer Thakurdwara Arpit Kapoor said that Anwar accepted to have killed Rukhsar during questioning. He said that he was already upset with her behaviour and wanted to kill her. After she refused to have sex with him for the second time on Monday morning, he used the rope to kill her.
