Lucknow, July 10: A teenage girl was allegedly kidnapped, drugged and gang-raped by three boys in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh. The 16-year-old girl was abducted by three boys on June 29 and held captive for 10 days in Aligarh. After rescuing the victim, police officials said that the accused force-fed the victim sleeping pills and gang-raped her.

The arrested accused also include a minor girl and a woman. On Tuesday, July 9, police officials said that the accused even called the victim's family for ransom while she was in their captivity, reports TOI. The accused were arrested after the police traced their mobile location. Acting on the victim's father's complaint, the police formed a special team and began investigating the matter. After 10 days, the team traced the accused's mobile location and nabbed them on Monday, July 8. An official said that all the accused were sent to jail after they were produced before a court.

The minor accused in the case was sent to the juvenile home of Agra. Cops also revealed that the accused are part of a criminal gang. In a separate incident in Ghazipur, the police arrested a 15-year-old boy who killed his parents and brother for opposing his marriage with the girl he had been in love with for the last two years. The police also recovered the sharp-edged weapon used by the minor boy to slit the throats of his parents and brother.
