A man in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, has survived being bitten by snakes five times in less than two months. Doctors are baffled by this rare occurrence, calling it a 'strange' case.

Fatehpur, July 3: What are the odds of surviving not just one but five venomous snake bites within a span of less than two months? A man in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, has survived being bitten by snakes five times in less than two months, leaving doctors shocked at his resilience. Despite the frequency of the bites, he has recovered each time without serious complications. Doctors are baffled by this rare occurrence, calling it a "strange" case. The man, identified as Vivek Dubey, has reportedly received timely medical treatment after each incident.

As per a report from India Today, Dubey's ordeal began on June 2 when he was first bitten while getting out of bed at night. Rushed to a private nursing home by his family, he recovered after a two-day stay, initially dismissing the incident as a stroke of bad luck. However, the snakes seemed undeterred. However, the snakes seemed undeterred. Each time, he was admitted to the same nursing home, treated, and miraculously recovered. Dr Jawahar Lal, who treated Dubey throughout his ordeals, expressed shock at the unusual frequency of snake bites in such a short period. Lal, noting the strangeness of the case, had recommended Dubey move away from his village after the third incident. Despite the odds, Dubey's condition is stable, and he continues to recover under medical supervision. The case has sparked curiosity and concern among residents and medical professionals alike in Fatehpur.
