Kanpur, April 22: A major fire broke out at a tannery in Chakeri area of Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. According to visuals, the blaze erupted in a first floor of the business complex. Visuals from the fire site in Chakeri shows flames and thick black smoke billowing from the building. Mumbai: 6 Luxury Cars, Including Porsche & Mercedes, Gutted in Fire Near Mahalakshmi Railway Station.

The fire erupted at a tannery in Kanpur's Chakeri area. Meanwhile, fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. No casualties were reported in the incident. Following the fire, the building was evacuated and rescue operation is underway. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known. Fire Erupts at Crawford Market in Mumbai.

Earlier today, a similar fire broke out at a building in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi. The fire erupted at a brush manufactury company in Jai Mata Di Compound. A similar fire was also reported from Mumbai's Crowford market, also known as Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai, on Abdul Rahman street behind Jumma Masjid at 10:57 am.
