Fatehabad, June 28: In a tragic incident, five people including a child, were killed in an accident on Friday after a double-decker bus rammed into a truck parked on Agra-Lucknow highway near Fatehabad. At least 50 people were also injured in the accident. According to reports, the bus collided with the truck laden with sand when it was taking a turn on Haryana’s Fatehabad cut of the highway. The bus was travelling to Rajasthan from Bihar. Meanwhile, the police and Uttar Pradesh district officials reached the spot. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. An investigation has been initiated into the incident.

Earlier on June 26, six people were killed and 13 others were injured in two separate accidents in Bihar. In Nawada district’s Kawada area, three people died after a bus in which they were travelling in rammed into an electric pole, while three children died after a speeding SUV ran over them while they were sleeping on a pavement in Patna.
