Meerut, October 9: For allegedly raping his teenage daughter for months, a 42-year-old Army Jawan was arrested on Sunday, October 6, in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. According to a report, the complainant said that her father tried to rape her younger daughter too. "I would have tolerated all this had my father not tried to rape my younger sister a few days ago. According to the cops, the accused was sending lewd messages to the victim and was also thrashing her without any provocation. The accused has been committing the crime for the last two years.

SP Meerut (Rural) Avinash Pandey said that the wife of accused was also thrashed when she objected sexual harassment of her daughter. Meanwhile, the Jawan has been booked under the charges of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and rape.
