Lucknow, June 19: Two men have been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police for attacking an on-duty Government Railway Police (GRP) official. The incident was reported in Deoria, where victim was thrashed after he reportedly asked the accused to stand in queue at the ticket counter. The video of the assault has went viral.
In the clip shared by news agency ANI below, the accused was approached by the GRP official asking them to follow the ticket line. The accused then viciously attacked the GRP personnel. They dragged him outside the ticket counter and continued the assault.

The UP Police's inquiry into the incident is still underway. The accused are likely to be chargesheeted under relevant IPC sections pertaining to physical assault and attack on a government servant.
