Ayodhya, November 26: Union Minister Uma Bharti on Sunday came out in support of Shiv Sena and said Bharatiya Janata Party does not have a patent on Ram Temple and lauded all parties should come together to built mandir in Ayodhya. "BJP doesn't have a patent on Ram Mandir, Lord Ram is of all. I appeal to everyone including SP, BSP, Akali Dal, Owaisi, Azam Khan etc to come forward and support the construction of the temple," minister said while speaking to ANI. Bharti also appreciated Uddhav Thackeray's effort for visiting and pressing demand to build the temple.
Earlier on Sunday, Shiv Sena chief during his visit to Ayodhya said that he has no hidden motives behind visiting the temple and he only wants construction of the temple at the earliest. During his visit, Thackeray also targeted BJP and said, " If Demonetisation and triple talaq can be passed without law then why cannot Construction of Ram Mandir? , is Ram Mandir also a jumla? PM Modi Accuses Congress of Adopting 'Delaying Tactics' in SC to Create Hurdles in Construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
He further added, "The temple should have already been constructed. Do whatever you want to do (BJP), whether it is coming up with a law or bringing in an ordinance, but the temple must be built." Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray Dares BJP Govt on Ram Mandir, Questions if 'Ram Temple Is Also a Jumla?'
Disapproved over Sena's push for construction of the temple, UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “There is no problem in Uddhav Thackeray catching a glimpse of Ram Lalla… But, had Balasaheb Thackeray been alive, he would have prevented Uddhav from doing whatever he is doing,” Maurya told PTI. “The Shiv Sena had no role in the temple movement or even in the Dharam Sabha, though Balasaheb Thackeray would support the Vishwa Hindu Parishad,” he said.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised Dharam Sabha, describing it as a 'last effort' to clear the hurdles, in Ayodhya to discuss strategies and plans for the construction of the temple at the earliest.
