UK Shocker: Woman Chokes to Death on Stage During Marshmallow-Eating Challenge in South Wales

London, October 18: Tragedy struck a family in the UK when a woman choked to death during a marshmallow-eating challenge. The woman, identified as Natalie Buss, died at a South Wales rugby club fundraiser event at Beddau RFC in Rhondda Cynon Taf. A probe was launched after the incident on October 7.

As per the Mirror report, Buss was supposed to stuff as many marshmallows in her mouth as she could as part of the stunt. Unfortunately, the 37-year-old mother of two collapsed while doing so after choking and was later pronounced dead. CPR was carried out on the woman as horrified eyewitnesses realised she was choking. BBC reported post mortem examination carried out at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taf, gave a provisional cause of death as “pending further investigation”. UK Shocker: Man Kept Pensioner’s Body in Freezer For Two Years And ‘Used His Bank Account To Go Shopping and Withdraw Cash’.

According to a Wales Online report, pathologists have yet to confirm the cause of death of Natalie Buss. The coroner for South Wales Central, Patricia Morgan, said there was “reason to believe her death was unnatural in nature”. Morgan expressed her condolences to the family of Natalie Louise Buss at this tragic time. The inquest into Buss’s death was adjourned for further investigations to be carried out. Following the Buss' demise, flowers were left at the scene, and the rugby club issued a statement expressing their grief. The staff were “nothing less than devastated”. The South Wales Police are investigating the incident, and there is also an investigation by Rhondda Cynon Taf council as the health and safety regulator, the report said.
