Two ISI Agents Arrested From Maharashtra's Nagpur in Joint Operations by Intelligence and ATC
Two suspected agents of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were arrested from Bhaldarpura in Nagpur on Friday.
Nagpur, November 10: Two suspected agents of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were arrested from Bhaldarpura in Nagpur on Friday. The ISI agents were arrested in the joint operations by Military Intelligence (MI) along with Anti-Terrorist Cell (ATC) of Nagpur and a Special team from Mumbai. According to the Times of India, the agents were preparing to target key and sensitive installations in the city.
The security forces have seized materials found at their residence and are being investigated. It is further reported that three more Pakistani agents are active in the area and the search operations are underway. In this matter, police have also taken some people into custody. Earlier in October this year, a BrahMos scientist Nishant Aggarwal was arrested for leaking sensitive information to the ISI. According to reports, Aggarwal had plans to carry out terror activities on Ganesh Chaturthi. Similarly, in May UP ATS and the Indian Army Intelligence, arrested an ISI agent from Didihat area of Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh.
