Baghpat, June 2: Two Indian Army Jawans were thrashed by restaurant employees in Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on Saturday in Baghpat after a minor argument. So far police have arrested seven people and a case has been registered. The video of the incident is also going viral on social media. The video is being widely shared on Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. In the 56-seconds-clip, dozens of people can be seen thrashing two Army Jawans (one with a red bag and one in green kurta).

"Two Army jawans were having lunch at a restaurant when they had an argument with a person, then the restaurant staff got involved and a fight broke out. Case registered and 7-8 restaurant employees have been arrested, further probe underway," said Ramnand Kushwaha, Circle Officer.

Last month, a Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) jawan was beaten by four individuals, including a Railway employee, after he stopped one of them from parking his two-wheelers illegally near Tilak Nagar railway station. The incident was recorded by a CCTV installed near the ticketing counter. Later, police have arrested the accused.
