Nakarahola, June 4: Two Army Jawans were killed after the Army vehicle carrying them overturned in Nakarahola area of Assam's Sonitpur district on Tuesday. In the incident, three jawans also sustained injuries. The injured have been shifted to Army Base Hospital in Tezpur for medical attention. According to reports, the Army vehicle was on it's way to Rangapara town from its camp in Phulbari. In the visuals shared by news agency ANI, the army vehicle can be seen overturned, while the defence officials are carrying out an inspection. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier this year, an Army personnel was killed and five others were injured after their vehicle overturned in Jammu and Kashmir's Pooch district. The incident took place near Totawali Gali in Gursai area. After the incident, all six on the vehicle were shifted to hospital where one of them, a resident of Doda district, succumbed to his injuries.
