Twitter India has released a statement and notified that the organization hosted a closed-door discussion with a group of women journalists and change makers from India to better understand their experiences of using Twitter. Out of the participants, one of the Dalit activists shared her personal experiences and gifted a poster to Jack Dorsey. Jack Dorsey earlier today found himself under the foil of controversy by allegedly offending the social class of India which holds up to 5 per cent of the population of India, as per the recent estimate. As per the Journalist's post, Twitter’s Indian Legal head, Vijaya Gadde was also present at the event. Even if Dorsey was not aware of the term, Gadde should have surely reacted to the term and should have stopped it from going into the platform.
