Mumbai, January 18: In a heartwarming incident that took place in Bihar, a group of transgenders helped a woman deliver her baby safely in Patna. The incident took place on Howrah-Patna Janshatabdi Express when the woman experienced labour pain. The woman was on her way to Jamui in Bihar when the incident took place.

According to a report in the Times of India, the incident took place when the pregnant woman and her husband boarded Howrah-Patna Janshatabdi Express train to reach Bihar's Jamui. Seeing his wife in pain, the husband requested other women passengers travelling in the train to help, however, reports state that no one came to their aid. While the woman's condition was getting worse, a group of transgenders entered the coach to seek money but when they saw the woman crying in pain, they rushed to her help.

The transgenders carried the woman to the washroom of the train where they helped her deliver the baby safely. Eyewitnesses also said that after delivery, both the mother and the baby were safe. After helping the woman deliver her baby, the transgenders blessed the baby boy. A video of one of the transgender has now gone viral on social media. In the video, the transgender says, "She (woman passenger) was restless with labour pain but no woman passenger offered her any help. Some came to see her but went back to their seats soon. We took her to the bathroom and helped her deliver the baby."
