Bhopal, June 27: In yet another incident of toll plaza violence in Madhya Pradesh, toll booth employees in Bhonrasa area were seen thrashing passengers with sticks. According to a tweet by ANI, the shocking incident took place on Thursday in Bhonrasa in Dewas district of the state. Reports inform that a case has been registered into the matter and investigation is currently underway. Incidents of toll plaza violence and thrashing toll booth employees have been on the rise across the country. However, in this incident, the toll plaza employees are seen brutally thrashing several passengers. The reason is still unknown. In April this year, a toll booth employee was dragged on the bonnet of an SUV and beaten up by its occupants. Police said that the tiff between the two broke through the boom barrier of the toll plaza. The incident took place on National Highway 8. The victim, Ashok Kumar, is employed with the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza of Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. Earlier this month, another incident of toll violence was reported from Gurugram in Haryana when a female employee was beaten up by a traveller. The incident took place at Kherki Dhaula toll plaza in Gurugram. In a video that went viral on social media, a person is seen holding the female toll collector's hand and also hit her on her face after which she can be seen crying.
