Tinsukia Killings: Rajnath Singh Condemns Brutal Murder of Five People in Assam
Rajnath Singh said he spoke to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and informed Sonowal that the Centre will deal with the perpetrators sternly.
Lucknow, November 2: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday condemned the brutal killing of five people in Assam, saying that "such cowardly acts will not be tolerated".

Rajnath Singh said he spoke to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and informed Sonowal that the Centre will deal with the perpetrators sternly. On Thursday night, suspected militants shot dead the five civilians in Tinsukia district's Kheraibari area. On Friday, the ULFA denied it carried out the killings.
