Patna, July 26: A young boy drowned in Bihar's Darbhanga district which has been hit by severe floods. The boy was trying to make a TikTok video but fell in the flood streams. After the incident, Darbhanga District Magistrate (DM) also spoke about the incident. The DM appealed to people to refrain from such misadventures. "We have repeatedly appealed to locals not to indulge in adventures here like taking selfies and making videos."
This is not the first time that an unfortunate incident has been reported related to a TikTok video gone wrong.
Recently, after the Supreme Court refused to stay Madras High Court’s order imposing a ban on TikTok app, the central government has reportedly asked Google and Apple to drop the Chinese video-sharing application from their app stores. TikTok app is available to download on Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store in Android smartphones.
