Thane Woman Slashes Girl's Private Parts, Gets 10 Years Rigorous Imprisonment

Mumbai, February 4: The Thane district court convicted and sentenced a 40-year-old woman to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for slashing the private parts of a girl. The girl had resisted attempts by the woman human trafficker who tried to force her into prostitution, which enraged the woman. The incident took place in Thane, Maharashtra. Out of the other three accused in the case, two were acquitted for lack of evidence while one accused named Alamgir is on the run and is out of police's reach.

But when the accused resisted Munshi's attempts to force her into the flesh trade, the accused assaulted her physically and cut her private part. Munshi also hit the girl on her face, resulting in the victim losing a teeth. The traffickers also caused the girl burn injuries by stabbing her with cigarettes, the court was informed. The police is now on the search for the missing accused, to bring the case to a conclusion.
