Mumbai, November 8: Mumbaikars were left struggling to reach their offices as heavy unseasonal November rains hit the city on Friday with downpour in Thane and Navi Mumbai areas. Not prepared for such heavy rains in November, people in Thane, Navi Mumbai and parts of Mumbai faced a hard time with local trains on Trans Harbour Line delayed. Some passengers informed LatestLY that trains were stuck between Thane and Airoli.
People in Airoli informed that there was very heavy rainfall in the area in the early morning hours. Commuters travelling on the Trans Harbour line complained that the trains plying from Thane to Vashi, Thane to Nerul and Thane to Panvel were badly hit. As per reports, some issue has been reported at Rabale station on the Trans Harbour line due to which train services were hit. Mumbai Rains Return! Announcements were being made at Thane railway station that no trains would ply from Thane on Trans Harbour line "till further notice". People were seen walking on tracks to reach their workplace. Panicked commuters faced a difficult time as rains made it worse.
