Hyderabad, April 22: Six people including Telugu TV actor Prashanthi have been booked for creating nuisance and obstructing a person from watching IPL match at Uppal stadium in Hyderabad. According to reports, despite police intervention, they reportedly continued their misbehaviour and also went on to abuse and threaten people. According to a tweet by ANI, the complainant said accused didn't allow him to watch match and also abused and threatened him with dire consequences. Police has begun an investigation into the matter. The probe into the incident is currently underway.

The incident took place when people gathered to watch SRH vs KKR match from Corporate Box No S 22 in the stadium. According to a report by Telangana Today, the arrested ones have been identified as Kandukuri Priya and Kandukuri Purnima of Ameerpet, Gurram Venu and Gopal of Nagole, Chintala Prashanthi of Madhapur, V Srikanth Reddy of Dilsukhnagar and Lakkapalli Suresh of Madhapur. The report further adds that after the victim, identified as Santosh Upadhya of Kompally, objected to them creating ruckus at the match, but he was abused by the group. The Uppal police was quoted in the report saying that the group had consumed alcohol in the corporate box in the stadium.
