Hyderabad, July 3: In an unfortunate incident in Telangana, a five-year-old girl reportedly died after a pen pierced her head. The shocking incident occurred on Monday, July 1, in Bhadrachalam town of Telangana's Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The deceased girl has been identified as Riyanshika, a UKG student.
According to reports, Riyanshika was reportedly writing something while sitting on a cot when she suddenly fell on the ground. The impact of her fall was such that the pen in her hand pierced her head. Her family immediately rushed her to a hospital, where she underwent surgery on Tuesday, July 2. Although the surgery was successful, Riyanshika developed an infection in the brain and succumbed to the infection today, July 3. The child's parents, father Manikanta and mother Swaroopa were in deep shock over the loss of their child. It is also reported that the family spent over INR 2 lakh but could not save their daughter.
In a separate incident, a 50-year-old woman allegedly killed her husband for misbehaving with their daughter. The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday, June 26, in Telangana's Sangareddy. Police said that the victim's daughter was living with her parents as her husband left her two years ago due to differences between the couple. It is reported that the man would regularly abuse his daughter for being a burden on the family. On most days, the victim would come home drunk and abuse his wife and daughter. On Wednesday, the victim came home drunk and misbehaved with his daughter.
This enraged the wife, who picked an axe and attacked him repeatedly, thereby killing her husband on the spot. After the incident, the police took the woman and her daughter into custody for interrogation.
