Hyderabad, October 24: In an unfortunate incident in Telangana, a student who tried to sneak out of the hostel in Madhapur allegedly fell to his death in Hyderabad. The alleged incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 23, when the deceased student and his friends tried to sneak out through the window. The student fell to death from the fifth floor of a corporate college hostel building in Madhapur.
His friends, who also tried to sneak out of the college hostel, escaped unhurt, reports The Times of India. While it is learned that the students tried to sneak out of the building, however, the purpose is being investigated by the police. As per the report, the incident took place at around 12:30 am on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday after the students finished their night study hours. After going into their rooms, the deceased student and his friends reportedly tried to sneak out through the window. However, while attempting to sneak out, the deceased student slipped and landed on the ground below next to a construction site. Post this, the deceased's friends climbed using sunshades and sewage pipes to check on the deceased before going back and alerting the college staff. Following the unfortunate tragedy, the college staff alerted the police, who reached the spot. Meanwhile, the student was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment a few hours after the mishap. During a preliminary probe, cops learned that the 17-year-old deceased student hailed from Kadapa and was studying MPC second year in the college.
