Hyderabad, October 25: An 80-year-old woman, Kyatam Radhamma, succumbed to injuries after being gored by a cow in Sirsilk Colony, Kaghaznagar in Telangana’s Asifabad. Radhamma, a single elderly resident, was attacked on October 20 and sustained severe abdominal injuries. She was receiving treatment at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Warangal, where she passed away on Friday, as confirmed by Kaghaznagar police.

The incident also left 20 other individuals with minor injuries after the cow ran amok, charging at residents in the area. Local police sub-inspector Sudhakar eventually managed to capture the cow and ensured it received necessary care. This comes after, a buffalo gored a 61-year-old man to death near State Bank of India Colony in Nanganallur. Two buffaloes were fighting on the road and in the melee, one of the strays charged at Chandrasekar, who was walking to his house. Passersby chased the animals away and called for an ambulance. Police said the ambulance took more than 30 minutes to reach the spot. By this time, some persons rushed him to a nearby hospital in an autorickshaw. Doctors declared him brought dead.
