Hyderabad, September 30: In a shocking case, a tribal woman was allegedly gang-raped by five men for two days in Telangana's Hyderabad at a poultry farm on September 18. The accused confined the victim's husband who was allegedly thrashed by them. Rachakonda Police has arrested 14 people including five who allegedly committed the crime. According to reports, the couple, a native of Nagaerkurnool district, arrived in Hyderabad four months ago and were working in a poultry farm run by Prasanth Reddy. Prasanth came to know that the couple was selling poultry feed to their associate, causing a loss to his farm. To take revenge, on September 18, Prasanth with his brother and three friends took the couple to another poultry farm. They allegedly took a woman to a room and gave her tranquillizers and gang-raped her for two days. Her husband was confined in another room and assaulted to know about the buyer of poultry feed.
After the victim's husband named Suresh. He was allegedly called to the farm and thrashed before releasing them all on September 21. Following this, the victim lodged a complaint with Pahadi Shareef police. Five people have been arrested for committing the crime, while nine other has been held for trying to settle the case out-of-court. An investigation into the matter is underway.
