Hyderabad, September 25: In a tragic incident, a 18-year-old student, living in hostel at the Balaji Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) campus in Narsampet, Telangana died on Friday. According to a report by the Times of India, the family of the deceased, identified as N Sanjay a second year polytechnic diploma student, has alleged that he died after being pushed from the second floor of the hostel complex, the management has claimed that it was an accident. Sanjay was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead. Report informs that CHRV Phanidar, ACP Narsampet said that according to the family's version of the incident, the deceased along with four of his roommates went up to a terrace on Friday night to discuss an issue between three of them. However, the argument among the students turned violent and the deceased was pushed to death from the second floor of the building. However, Principal of BITS, VS Hariharan, told TOI that during a scuffle between the fellow students one of them "tumbled on Sanjay who then accidentally fell off from the floor." Telangana Shocker: Minor Girl Dies by Suicide After Delivering Baby; Rape Case Registered.

Sanjay's uncle reportedly claimed that the authorities knew about the conflict between the students but did not any action step to resolve the same. He has also demanded immediate actions against the students involved in the incident, reported Times of India. N Sanjay was a resident of Vangapally village in Kamalapur mandal of the Hanamkonda district and was perusing polytechnic diploma from the institute. He was in his second year.
