Hyderabad, October 16: A construction worker from Telangana's Rajanna Sircilla district was arrested after he returned from Dubai and turned into a Guerrilla. He had joined the banned terror outfit after his wife spent his hard earned money that he used to send from Dubai and eloped with another man. The man was identified as Jakkula Babu (38) who returned to India and joined the Naxalite group.

Police superintendent from Sircilla district quoted by Times Now said Jakkula was in touch with the CPIML Janashakti. In Dubai, he was working as a migrant construction worker. He returned from Dubai in 2016 and joined the banned Naxal outfit. As long as he was working in Dubai, he used to send his saving to his wife, said reports. After coming to India, he found that his wife had eloped with another man, after which he joined the banned group. 15 Naxals Killed In Sukma Encounter; Large Amount Of Firearms Seized.

Police have recovered US-made Mouser pistol and live ammunition along with nearly Rs 44,000 cash from his possession. Police have also arrested his associate Thokala Srikanth.

According to the police officials, the group was trying to trigger panic people before the upcoming polls. Previously, many cases were registered against Jakkula between 2001 and 2008, though the cases remain pending, he was able to secure a passport and fly to Dubai.
