The incident occurred on October 25, when Anil, a resident of Telangana, positioned a live wire close to his bed to charge his mobile phone and fell asleep.
During the night, Anil unknowingly touched the exposed wire and suffered a severe electric shock, reported India Today. His family found him unconscious and rushed him to a nearby private hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to a government facility. Sadly, Anil succumbed to his injuries despite medical intervention.
