Hyderabad, July 22: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday has instructed the state Police Department to release prisoners with good conduct on the occasion of Independence Day 2020. The Chief Minister has directed the police department to prepare a list of prisoners with 'good conduct' to be released  on the occasion of this year’s Independence Day Celebrations, the Telangana Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.

According to the Chief Minister's Office, the Rao held a meeting with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Director General of prisons Rajiv Trivedi, and DGP M Mahender Reddy at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday.
