Hyderabad, December 1: A case has been registered against Ashish Goud, son of former MLA and BJP leader Nandeshwar Goud, over allegations of sexual harassment of a former Big Boss contestant on Sunday. This development comes hours he was protesting for the Hyderabad veterinary doctor, who was raped and murdered. Ashish is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). According to reports, the incident took place early on December 1 at a hotel in Madhapur, Hyderabad. In her complaint, the woman said that Ashish and his friends approached and began misbehaving with them by using vulgar language and catching hands. She also alleged that Goud and his friends threw glass bottles on the floor and even attempted to hit them.

A First Information Report (FIR) under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC has been registered.

Responding to the allegations, Ashish said that the developments are "false". "If there is something like that, people should come forward with proof. It’s become a habit nowadays for everyone to issue blank complaints like this. We are not those who get scared for this,” he said.
