Tejas Networks Bags Order Of 1.1 Billion To Enhance Indian Navy's Communication Network

Bengaluru-headquartered Tejas Networks on Monday received a Rs 1.1-billion order from global data network solutions company Sterlite Technologies for the Indian Navy’s countrywide next-generation digital communications network.

New Delhi, October 22: Bengaluru-headquartered Tejas Networks on Monday received a Rs 1.1-billion order from global data network solutions company Sterlite Technologies for the Indian Navy’s countrywide next-generation digital communications network. Tejas Networks in a statement claimed that with the new communication network The Indian Navy’s communication network would become robust, highly secure, scalable and reliable digital highway for naval operations. The network will link multiple Indian naval offices and India-administered islands. Sanjay Nayak, Managing Director and CEO of Tejas while expressing happiness for getting the order, said that the order reinforces technological and execution capabilities of the company for building large and complex communication networks. Tejas Networks is an India-based optical and data networking products company which designs and develops products in the Optical Networking and Broadband Access (4G/LTE, GPON) segments. The company has a customer base over 65 countries.
