Patna, December 17: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap on Sunday made a sudden appearance at the Party's state headquarters in Patna and announced his comeback to active politics after a gap of over a month after filing for divorce in November. After speaking with young workers, Tej Pratap addressed a press conference where he praised Congress President Rahul Gandhi for the party's win in the recently concluded assembly election in the five states. "I have returned to Bihar after receiving the blessings of Lord Krishna during my pilgrimage. The state will emerge as Kurukshetra in the Lok Sabha polls and our detractors will be slayed with the Sudarshan Chakra of the popular vote," he said. Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap refused to take any questions on his decision to divorce Aishwarya Rai, whom he married in May this year. Earlier, soon after announcing the divorce, Tej Pratap left for pilgrimage, and he has no intentions to return to his 10, Circular Road, bungalow, which is allotted to his mother Rabri Devi.

"I have requested the state government to allot a bungalow in my name. I have also tried to reach Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the phone on the issue," he said. There were reports that father Lalu Yadav and mother Rabri Yadav is not happy with Tej Pratap's decision of divorce and wanted him to patch-up with his wife.
