New Delhi, May 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday reacted to a viral video of Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Tej Bahadur Yadav in which he can be heard saying that he'd assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi if he gets "Rs 50 crores". Reacting to it BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said that he is stunned by Yadav's statement. "Stunned by statements of SP candidate, Tej Bahadur Yadav. He was drafted by SP from Varanasi, his candidature has been nullified for various reasons. We can see on TV how he's telling a group that he's willing to hatch a plot to assassinate PM Modi for Rs 50 cr," Rao was quoted saying by news agency ANI.

The authenticity of the video is not confirmed. In the video, accessed by several media houses, Tej Bahadur can be heard saying that he will launch "a plot to assassinate PM Modi if he is given Rs 50 crores". In the clip, he further says that he will do it only if an Indian gives him money, not a Pakistani.
