During an interrogation overseen by child welfare committee officers, the 13-year-old suspect admitted to stabbing the younger boy in retaliation for derogatory remarks made about his deceased mother. The suspect then resumed his daily activities, concealing the crime. The altercation is believed to have occurred on Friday morning. Both boys, originating from Bihar, were residents at the school operated by a charitable foundation and hosted students from various states.
