In a shocking news, a 15-year-old school girl was gangraped by three of her fellow schoolmates in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district. The three boys have been taken into custody and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
Chennai, July 8: In a shocking news, a 15-year-old school girl was gangraped by three of her fellow schoolmates in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district. The three boys have been taken into custody and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
The victim is studying in a co-educational government school and was invited to a birthday party for a Class 12 student from the same school, reported India Today. The girl alleged that suddenly, the student locked the door and invited two of his friends inside. The three students allegedly raped the 15-year-old girl and shot a video of the incident. The video was also circulated to former students of the same school.
The incident was discovered when the girl refused to go to school later. When the victim’s mother questioned why, the girl narrated the incident to her.

Later on, the three students were taken into custody under the POCSO Act. The accused have been sent to an observation home instead of a jail because they are juveniles.
An investigation into the horrible crime has been launched by the police.
