Chennai, May 20: In a bizarre incident in Tamil Nadu, a drunk youth allegedly rode a policeman's bike to meet Chief Minister M K Stalin. The alleged incident occurred on Saturday, May 18, when the drunk youth was detained by police near CM MK Stalin's residence in Alwarpet. The youth has been identified as E Santhosh.

The incident came to light after the police stopped a bike with a "police" sticker. After stopping the bike, the police questioned E Santosh. However, before he could meet the CM, Santhosh was detained by the police. A native of Ramanathapuram, Santosh, told cops that the bike belonged to a police constable attached to the Kolathur police station. On Saturday evening, Santosh borrowed the police constable's bike on the pretext of buying dinner.

Instead of buying dinner, Santosh got drunk and rode along to Alwarpet to meet CM MK Stalin. Before he could meet Chief Minister Stalin, the police detained him and handed him over to the cops. The police registered a case of public nuisance against him. Meanwhile, the police also questioned the constable whose bike Santosh had borrowed. The constable said that he was unaware of Santhosh’s plans.
