Speaking to The Hindu, K. Satish, Deputy Director of Health Services in Cheyyar, said, "We’re conducting a health check-up for residents in the village. So far, cases of vomiting, fever, and diarrhoea have not been reported here. However, we are monitoring the situation.”

District Food Safety Officer A. Ramakrishnan announced that samples of the juice and the entire batch from the local shop had been collected for testing. Food safety teams are also working with Namakkal officials, where the juice is manufactured, to test samples from the company's warehouse.
