Swami Paripoornananda Banned From Entering Hyderabad For Six Months, Days After Kathi Mahesh Was Externed

Hyderabad, July 11: Hindu seer Swami Paripoornananda has been externed by Hyderabad police and will not be allowed to enter Hyderabad for six months without permission. This comes days after Telugu film critic Kathi Mahesh was also banned from entering Hyderabad for six months by the Telangana Police. The externment order against Paripoornananda was issued under Section 3 of the Telangana Prevention of Anti Social and Hazardous Activities Act 1980 citing hate speech cases against him.

Swami Paripoornananda, the founder of Rashtriya Hindu Sena, was on Monday placed under house arrest in Hyederabad ahead of his proposed 40 km ‘Dharmagraha Yatra’ (padayatra) from Boduppal to Yadadri. The head of the Kakinada Sri Peetham, Swami Paripoornananda, who was to lead the march against those making ‘anti-Hindu’ statements, was prevented from coming out of his house to take out the yatra for which police had denied permission, they said.

Paripoornananda had recently demanded arrest of Telugu actor and film critic Kathi Mahesh over his alleged statements against Hindu deities and said the actor had ‘hurt’ the sentiments of Hindus, police said.
