Suspected Khalistan Commando Force Terrorist Arrested by Punjab Police
Punjab police on Thursday arrested a suspected terrorist of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) from Jalandhar. He has been identified as Amrik Singh alias Manga.
Jalandhar, March 28: Punjab police on Thursday arrested a suspected terrorist of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) from Jalandhar. He was identified as Amrik Singh alias Manga. Singh was also associated with Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF). According to reports, he had taken up Ugandan citizenship and had entered India through Nepal. Meanwhile, a 53-year-old member of the KCF was arrested by the Delhi police on March 13. He was identified as Gursewak Singh Babla. According to police, Babla was planning to reconstitute the group on the instructions of KCF’s current chief Paramjeet Singh Panjwar, who is residing in Pakistan.
Last year, reports also surfaced that two Khalistani terrorists are reportedly planning to attack Parliament using a vehicle laden with explosives. Following the specific terror input about the possible attack on Parliament House received by intelligence agencies, forces had tightened up security in and around Central and New Delhi districts. The terrorists were identified as Lakhwinder Singh and Parminder Singh.
