Madrid, February 19: The Spain government on Tuesday conferred External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj with a prestigious award 'Grand Cross of Order of Civil Merit'. EA Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived in Spain on Monday on the last leg of her trip to three-nation Bulgaria, Morroco and Spain. The award was given to Swaraj by Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell Fontelles in Madrid. Before reaching Madrid, Swaraj signed four Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Moroccan counterpart. On February 16, Sushma Swaraj embarked her three-nation visit to Bulgaria, Morroco and Spain to expand avenues of cooperation and discuss regional and global issues of importance.
