The outgoing Director General of BSF had on Saturday confirmed that Pakistan Border Action Team (BAT) killed Narender Kumar along the International border near Jammu earlier this September.

While interacting with media, outgoing DG, BSF KK Sharma said, there are terror launchpads within five to seven kilometres near the IB. He further added that the borders with Pakistan would be more secure in the future. He also stated, "This technology is foolproof, no doubt about it. It's only 11 km now but borders with Pakistan & Bangladesh are more than 6500 km. In the future, our borders will be more secure."

BSF Head Constable Narender Kumar was mutilated by Pakistani forces along the international border (IB) near Jammu earlier this month. The body of Head Constable Narender Kumar reportedly bore three bullet marks, his throat was slit while his eyes were gouged out.
