Mumbai, July 31: In a shocking event, a man killed his wife in front of his children and TikTok lover in East London. He murdered his wife last year and threw her body into the River Lea, putting it in a suitcase. Her boyfriend, Shahin Miah, who was watching online, recorded key evidence to present to the police. The accused was sentenced to 22 years in jail on July 30.

Evil Aminan Rahman was convicted of murdering Suma Begum in their East London flat on the night of April 29 last year. According to a Mirror report, Rahman placed his wife's body in a suitcase and discarded it in the river. Her remains were found ten days later by a mudlarker on the riverbank. CCTV footage shows Rahman leaving the flat with a suitcase and his young child and later dragging the bag along the road. The victim’s boyfriend, Miah, testified in court about the horrifying murder, which he witnessed online during a video call. He recounted that Rahman grabbed Suma Begum by the throat as she attempted to escape. The video captured three screams before freezing, leaving no further footage after Rahman’s initial attack. Miah described how Rahman, in a chilling statement, declared, “Look, I have killed Begum, and now you get ready.” Miah also reported that Rahman was visibly angry, with froth coming from Suma’s mouth, and continued to swear at him throughout the video. Following this, Rahman was sentenced today to a minimum of 22 years in prison. Mr. Justice Bennathan told Rahman, "Suma Begum was a lively, attractive young woman and a devoted mother. She was kind to you even when she exercised her right to end your marriage."
