Mumbai, January 6: In a piece of shocking news, a masked mob armed with sticks and bricks attacked students and teachers inside the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus on Sunday. Over 40 students and teachers were injured, including Aishe Ghosh, president of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU) has sustained head injuries. In a video shared by ANI, she was seen severely bleeding. JNUSU claimed members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) were behind the attack.

Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has called the Registrar, Proctor and Rector of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) to his office, today, according to ANI news update.
