Nathdwara, May 30: India is set to get another tall statue to its tally. After getting the tag of holding the world's largest statue, the country will soon see the inauguration of another mammoth sculpture in Rajasthan- that of Lord Shiva, also known as Mahesha, Shankara and Bholenath. According to reports, the construction of the statue will be completed in August as the work is in the final stage. Statue of Kodamb Ram to be Installed in Ayodhya.

The monument is being built with around 2,500 tonnes of refined steel at Ganesh Tekri in Rajasthan's Nathdwara district. According to the builder- Miraj group, the Lord Shiva statue is "glazed by high-quality copper, holding a zinc-built pedestal on which the entire statue sits." Statue of Unity in Gujarat Enters 2019 World Architecture News Awards.

The Statue of Belief is being built at a height of 351 feet. Upon completion, it will have three viewing galleries at 20 feet, 110 feet and 270 feet. The statue with a base of 110-feet, the shoulders are at a height of 260 feet, while his Trishul (Trident) rise up to 315 feet. The statue will be the fourth tallest, after the Statue of Unity, Spring Temple Buddha in China and Myanmar's Laykyun Setkyar.

The construction of the statue began on April 17, 2013, according to Miraj Group's website. The face of Lord Shiva is already painted. Reportedly, the colour work has been started in the chest, arms and lower limbs. Reports also say that the statue of Nandi cow will be built, which would be about 25 feet tall and 37 feet wide.
