New Delhi, December 26: The end-of-the year celestial spectacle, as witnessed through the Solar Eclipse of December 2019, was witnessed by scores of Indians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi informed his followers on Twitter that the cloud cover in the national capital region hindered his view of the Sun. The Prime Minister, however, succeeded in viewing the Solar Eclipse through live streaming from several places including the coastal district of Kozhikode in Kerala.

Apart from viewing the historic eclipse, Modi also held discussions over the same with a team of experts. The visuals of his interaction, along with the eclipse he viewed through live streaming, were shared by the Indian PM on his Twitter account.

"Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about Solar Eclipse. Unfortunately, I could not see Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts," he said.
