Pune, November 20: Amid the rise of internet obsession, Maharashtra’s first Internet addiction liberation centre has been set up in the Pune city. Anandvan de-addiction and rehabilitation centre which was inaugurated on Sunday has already received three indoor internet addicts. The innovative centre has been set up by Ajay Dudhane and was inaugurated by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Mayor Mukta Tilak. Internet Addiction Among Teenagers Is Serious, Says Research.
Dudhane while speaking to media said that a team of experts will be working on the issues like e-addiction, meditation, brain feedback, fear anxiety, issues of the teenager, instability. Apart from this, various road shows and awareness campaign will be conducted on the topic of internet de-addiction. This is India's third Internet addiction de-addiction Center after a similar was setup in Bangalore and Delhi. The side effects of the internet and mobile usage will be cured here. This comes after the internet addiction is becoming a serious problem among teenagers, they are mostly dependent on their research and project work on the internet. The rising usage of social media has also affected their physical and mental health.
