New Delhi, September 30: Prime Minister  Narendra Modi attended a convocation ceremony at IIT-Madras on Monday and spoke at the Singapore-India Hackathon 2019 prize distribution event at the campus. Congratulating the winners of the Hackathon event, PM Modi mentioned one idea, which he specifically liked. Speaking on it, he said, "My young friends here solved many problems today. I especially like the solution about a camera to detect who is paying attention. I will talk to my Speaker in the Parliament. I am sure it will be very useful to Parliament." PM Narendra Modi To Be in Chennai Today For 56th Convocation of IIT Madras.

According to an ANI tweet, PM further said, "Friends you have been working for the last 36 hours to solve challenging problems. Hats off to you and your energy and I don't see fatigue. I see the satisfaction of a task well accomplished. Hackathons are great for youngsters, participants get access to state of the art technology for the solution of global problems. I firmly believe that the solutions found in today's hackathon are the start-up ideas for tomorrow."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Guest at 56th convocation of IIT-Madras. Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam were also present at the event.
