Chennai, September 20: In a shocking incident in Tamil Nadu, a 22-year-old woman allegedly died of food poisoning after she consumed shawarma from a local eatery. The alleged incident occurred on Wednesday, September 18, near Vanagaram in Chennai. The deceased woman has been identified as Swetha, who is said to be a resident of Thiruveedi Amman Street near Vanagaram.

A senior police official from the Avadi Police Commissionerate confirmed the news, reports The Hindu. The official also said that Swetha was a teacher at a private school in Noombal.
