Indore, August 18: A student of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) in Indore was injured after the ceiling slab of his hostel room collapsed, news agency ANI reported. The incident took place on Saturday evening. The collapse raises serious questions on the infrastructure of SGSITS. The injured student was admitted to a hospital.
Visuals showed a large part of the ceiling slab of the hostel room collapsed. The slab fell on two beds kept inside the room for students. Fortunately, the fan didn't fall with the slab.
